Designer Genes and Calf show

Super weekend in Shrewsbury on the 11th of December at the HCBA Christmas Calf show and Designer Genes Sale.

Ruby 37th was our star selling for 10,200gns to Bowendu Herefords. It’s absolutely great to hear how happy the Bowen family are with their previous purchases from us and I’m sure Ruby will exceed expectations.

We took four young calves to the show in two separate classes. We managed to win both classes we entered.

Dendor 1 Virginian 1st in the March/April Bull class.

Dendor 1 Lilac Wine 37th 1st in one of the Junior heifer heifer classes.

Midford Herefords Won the other junior heifer class with an embryo purchased from us two years prior. Once again great to see our breeding doing well for other people.

Hereford autumn Day

Tyson did us proud at the Hereford Autumn Day. Top Price bull and sold away to his new home in Somerset.

We wish his purchasers at the Prestcombe herd all the best. We have young bulls sired by Nairobi and Moonshine for sale.
