The aim of the Dendor Herd is to continue to produce bulls that are capable of producing offspring for either the pedigree or commercial herd that meet the current market requirements (weight, size, grade, quality). The following has been extracted from a Hereford Journal which sums up Denis’s thoughts. "As times have gone by I have seen many people and herds come and go. Although farming has always been in my blood and it is the job I would have chosen it has been made more enjoyable and fulfilling as my family are totally committed and involved in the cattle with me. We imported bloodlines to breed our grandchildren and although they (the grandchildren) frustrate me – I secretly delight that they enjoy the cattle as my own children do and I can only hope that circumstances and the future allows the Dendor Herd to continue. Doris and I are in our "retiring years" and have enjoyed so far what we have achieved and look forward to many more years of our involvement with Hereford Cattle."
