The Welsh Winter Fair 'Best Pair of Steers' by a Native Breed Sire sponsored by Dovecote Park Limited and the R.W.A.S. The steers born May 2004 were sired by Seaconpoll 1 Rumpus and Costhorpe 1 Umpire respectively. Judge David Matthews commenting on the steers stated "they had good finish, handled well feeling smooth over their loins. Their overall condition felt mellow with the correct amount of fat covering". He also commented that "the steers were very quiet, well matched and very deserving of the award".
